The approval of the proposed changes in the bylaws will be done during UPNAAI's August 2019 Convention
and will be approved by the General Membership in attendance to the convention
as stipulated in our Bylaws (Article XIV, Section 1).

In Memoriam

Dear fellow UP Nurses,
I am conveying this message to UPNAAI through Christina Presbitero. It is with deep sadness that I announce the passing of an icon not only among UP Nurses but also other nursing colleagues. Our dearly beloved founder of UPNAA- USA, inc. MRS. CAROLINA DE GUZMAN,  passed away yesterday (March 5, 2019) with her family at her side. It is a loss all of us who know her well feel deeply at this moment. Mrs. de Guzman ( Lina) was an instructor in the old UP-PGH School of Nursing where she was greatly respected and loved by us her former students.
